The Westchester Marriott has been a customer of Clear Sky Software for almost five years utilizing the company’s perpetual inventory system in the beverage department. After hearing of the success of Clear Sky’s new food inventory system, this hotel, located just outside New York City, made the decision to extend this technology to the culinary department. Now the Westchester Marriott has one vendor and one system for tracking and controlling food and beverage products. Features include purchasing, receiving, storeroom requisition, transfers, physical inventory, and a rich and flexible reporting system. An interface to the hotel’s major food distributor is also included as part of the deliverables. This interface alone will save the culinary staff many hours each week in such critical areas as product orders, receiving, and price updates.
