One
of Clear Sky Software’s newest customers is the Sailfish Point Club in
Stuart, Florida. Clear Sky’s bar code-based system was implemented to help
management better control food, beverage and retail inventory throughout this
sprawling club. Training was completed in late October for staff members in
purchasing, accounting, restaurant, kitchen areas and club house. Additional
features installed at Sailfish Point include Clear Sky’s interface to Jonas
Club Software and Clear Sky’s integration to the food purveyors Cheney
Brothers, Performance Food Group and Sysco.
Sailfish
Point is a very busy club with an extensive F&B inventory. Management
therefore needed a solid food and beverage inventory system for managing the
club’s F&B activities as well as retail items in the Pro Shop. Features of
Clear Sky Inventory include orders, receiving, requisition/issue/transfer, and
physical inventory. Management reports allow executives to pinpoint F&B
costs, product activity/inactivity, and order/vendor discrepancies. An
expanded Events Management module also allows the team at Sailfish to manage
all of their banquet events with ease and produce banquet cost reports in
seconds.
