Now the hotel has one vendor and one system for tracking and controlling all food and beverage products. Features include purchasing, receiving, storeroom requisition, transfers, physical inventory, and a rich and flexible reporting system. The Oakland Marriott City Center also implemented Clear Sky’s interface to US Foods. This automates the receiving of all products from this vendor and provides automatic cost updates thus saving countless hours and increasing accuracy. This bar code-based software, hardware, and services combination is helping The City Center gain better control over their food and beverage inventory while maintaining low food and beverage costs.
